Topic: Top 3 Favorite Domain Bloggers

Who are your top 3 favorite domain bloggers and why?

Let me begin with mine...

#1  @James Iles from JamesNames.com - Super nice guy, have chatted with him personally and he is very knowledgeable about the industry and seems to be getting more and more scoops about domains. Surprisingly enough James is quite approachable and we have chatted about blogging a bit and I so much appreciated his time.

#2 Morgan Linton from MorganLinton.com - Morgan blogs from the cuff, he is quite knowledgeable about domaining and will often mix his personal opinions into his posts. It is that candidness I appreciate and love reading. I always look forward to his next article. He is also one of a rare breed that will own up when he makes a mistake, so as much as he can take credit for his super work he is humble enough to admit when he makes an error.

#3 @equity78 (Raymond Hackney) from tldinvestors.com - Raymond is probably the most prolific domain blogger I know and I have conversed with him several times via email. Raymond has the uncanny ability to create conversation and has his finger on the pulse of the industry. If I have a day with almost no domaining news I can count on Raymond to find something interesting to blog about.

Elliot at https://domaininvesting.com/ has been my go-to blog for years.

Morgan's blog is really great as well, since he's into other extensions and crypto as well

Re: Top 3 Favorite Domain Bloggers

Here are some of my personal (not speaking for WHC) favourites:

#1 Andrew Alleman from DomainNameWire. Aside from DNJournal, the original domain blogger. Have known him for a long time and trust him and enjoy his reporting.

#2 Ron Jackson from DNJournal. While not technically originally a blog and a blogger, he's a full-blown journalist and always does his best to shed our industry in a good light and reports on verified sales.

#3 Kevin Murphy from DomainIncite. Despite his [s]occasionally[/s] controversial style (see "incite"), I like the investigative drive to dig into issues. Launched during the new gTLD launch.

Honourable mention: @GeorgeK with FreeSpeech and also his Twitter account @GeorgeKirikos. He fights the good fight where he sees ICANN policy go the wrong way, uncovers hidden sales and always is able to contribute to the current discussion.

[edited: Clarified that I'm not speaking for WHC and removed the "occasionally" for Kevin Murphy.]

Re: Top 3 Favorite Domain Bloggers

I really enjoy every person mentioned so far but I must through Jamie Zoch into the mix.

He's in fact one of my favourites. He tweets a lot more than he blogs but that's common for most of these guys. Every day he's pumping out tons of domain sales/movement on Twitter, mostly from GD's Namefind portfolio.

His personal website is DotWeekly.com but he also writes for Uniregistry: https://uniregistry.com/blog/author/jamie-zoch

I love his investigations about domain sales, mostly on Twitter, true. Also, he's an all-around good guy, I've enjoyed talking to him.
