Regardless of who wrote the paper, it's only a matter of time before artificial intelligence and automation becomes so advanced it's able to replace majority of humans. What happens then? I think we should start having these discussions sooner rather than later.

It's really great... until everyone does it.

Wow, and you thought all this farmed-out 3rd world, tech support was a huge security risk. :p

If you've ever tooled around with AI, you will find it very amenable to scams and tricks, so I have no idea why some company would be stupid enough to rely on it for tech support. It's like putting a team of toddlers in charge - just wave a bag of candy at them and they'll do whatever you want.

I mean, what did Instagram expect would happen?
