The .AI rush is near the end of it's cycle, the players that matter have their domains, when it comes to AI the few will control the many so many domain names are not needed.
Anyone thinking .SI will continue the boom is probably shooting for the moon but will end up crash landing.

I've been in domains long enough to think anything is possible, .xyz, .io, .ai, and others have shot up when it seemed impossible or unlikely. So why not .si?
Will .si be huge? I doubt it, but it could become say a subcategory of domain sales related to AI for companies that want to differentiate as Super Intelligence. There is still a lot of investment being made into AI in the coming years, at least in forecasts. The rise of .ai happened slowly, I could have invested in some good ones but never thought to bother, never thought they could command six figure sales like they have. The high reg price also made it hard to speculate in, whereas .si might be more prone to speculators since you can register one for under $15 US.
I wonder how the country of Slovenia would feel about it's .si gaining significant traction from speculators and companies in the AI/SI space?

The premium word .si mentioned as sold earlier in this thread in the $1200 to $3000 range were probably bought by more seasoned speculators, willing to put some money in as a gamble. The build.si sale would seem more like an end user, maybe it was bought by build.ai
I registered maybe 20 .si last year when there was some initial talk about its potential, at $13 US each not a huge gamble to make and renew to see if anything plays out.

Hey if you can get them cheap it's worth the gamble, if you are paying premiums to other investors you may be left holding the bag on some prime Slovakia real estate with no buyers in sight.
