When did the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan start buying domains? Is it after their 95M loss with Crypto??
Seems like they finally have found a niche that grows in value over time. LOL. But the domain still points to domainnames.ca
 
Maybe they didn't want to pay the asking price for otip.ca and are rebranding?

And while orbit.ca is a nice single word domain, im guessing they are using it as an acronym as well? Most of the key letters are in the word anyway...

Maybe [ontario][regional?][board?][insured][teachers]? Doesnt sound great just like that but it was the best i could come up with.

Otip was a fairly recent TBR domain. Whoever the owner is, if they're here, contact me directly, I have a story for you.

Then again, maybe the are rebranding to disassociate from the old name from the crypto loss fiasco. I can see that happening too.

yes, a strange acquisition but a nice one word .ca

I could see it selling for a lot higher, short one word and has a coolness factor.
