How can we compare this to Godaddy’s offer. Certainly change is happening the Domain Brokerage space.

Happy New Yeah

If you have to park .CA, where is the best place to park .CA domains?
Great question. Good to have an open discussion. May be even a dedicated thread.

The problem with this is there is no way to guarantee that you get the 10% on Buy-it-Now purchases, and they are more than likely to be from MLS buyers at 20%.

In fact, I tried this once and had a few BINs, but none that purchased through the Sedo landing page and all cost a hefty 20% commission. A lot of the offers I get on Sedo are also at 20% for MLS rather than 15% standard.

In my completely unbiased opinion, I would say Bodis.

Feel free to send me a PN if would like to discuss this further :)

Has anyone tracked their sales by landing page source (GD, Sedo, Bodis, private) and type (BIN vs Offer) ?

If so, I'd be interested in hearing a breakdown by percentages per landing page?

I foolishly haven't been doing that, but I may have to recreate that data from the past year or so by looking through emails for each sale, and will start doing so going forward.

I like the Bodis lander you use on some of your pages, I don't see the parking because my adblocker blocks it so I get directly to the lander.

To be honest, the make-an-offer version of that lander is fine, but the BIN lander via Escrow.com just generates a lot of transactions that never go through, presumably from pre-teen jackasses who create transactions for fun. My Escrow.com account is full of them. Its annoying, but I just ignore them. I don't think I've ever had a bodis BIN lander actually have a completed transaction - at least not that I can think of off the top of my head.

That may be but its a heck of a nice clean lander.

I think Bodis could sell a service similar to Efty if they wanted too.
Efty is getting a bit to pricey and we need a more reasonable alternative.

I know you can use the lander without using the parking but that doesn't feel right because one would be using their resources without giving back.

Leaving aside the price, it is also possible to park with Bodis and sell through Efty (and a few other marketplaces) through a link to an external marketplace on the Bodis parked page.

Let me check the one sale I had in 2017

Almost all of my sales have been via the GD BIN lander. With a few via the Sedo BIN

These are my "mom and pop" domains that are priced accordingly

Haven't had a sale at Dan in over a year and that's where I park my newer domains because of the push options. I also lost my higher value domains at Dan because of the easier "make offer" functionality and payment plans...and as of a couple days ago the cheaper commission

I definitely still use escrow.com on occasion, but only after manually negotiating and setting up the transaction. BTW, not sure if you know, but Escrow.com finally added CAD as a currency. However, I've only completed one transaction in CAD so far. Typically buyers are so frustrated with the verification process that they're like screw-it, I'll pay using e-transfers....
