TBR Musings - August 4, 2021 (1.Viewing)

I see about 4000 domains in the list by now and who thinks 400 will be re-registered come next Wednesday? I don't, but who knows. I see 300 to be the sweetspot for the last few weeks.

Haven't seen anything standing out so far..but there is always an Apricot, Carpool or a Tera that can show up in the list!

It feels lately that some are grabbing names for the sake of getting a name from the TBR! This weeks list wasn’t that great but still a lot of names taken.

Now that the restaurants are open in Ontario, I would rather take that $60 back order and buy a nice steak dinner.

Hello, Thx [notify]theinvestor[/notify] for the heads up, I saw it a few days ago on the TBR list but I'm going to pass on this one. Almost hand registered it 2-3 yrs. ago when I used the name to log on other forums that aren't around anymore. I enjoy reading all the posts on domain sales, TBR and all the happenings the the dot ca world.

Last week was pretty bad (I only pre-ordered 6 domains and only 4 were realistically attainable) but I can't find a single name I'd go to auction on so far, and it's Friday.

It's not where I'm seeing the most activity, especially in terms of ROI. You have to pay dearly to win these LLLs, and I don't see the commensurate level of buyer demand.

Not a bad LLL

A perfect end user would be https://www.placeduportage.ca/ An exact match for the acronym and it's a big government complex in Gatineau (just across from downtown Ottawa) that housed about 10,000 workers pre-Covid

But now plans for it range from a multi-million dollar reno to tearing it down and building condos (which, if i'm guessing, would probably carry the same name)

I'd just get both, only way to be sure!

Random question, why does the CIRA domain count keep increasing for the TBR, day after day, even though it's all for August 4th?

It was 5100ish last night, right now it's 5,934...

if it's all for the drop on the 4th, wouldn't it be set in stone?
