Topic: 11/18/2020 tbr

Moat and Junex go 1-2 (?) to WHC/Siber then nothing for them again until 25th.
Siber is definitely a huge disappointment since the takeover.

Real character is doing the right thing when nobody is watching.;)
Be sure brain is engaged before putting keyboard in gear.

Yep.  I bet they moved the TBR software to WHC servers, and now they can't figure out the timing, at all.  Like not even close.  They really effed this up.  Its too bad that now MyID is benefiting the most.  I was sure hoping more outliers would benefit more, not just them...  You'd think they wouldn't have been so stupid to fix something that wasn't broken.

it's definitely very hit or miss...  and once in a while there's something good, but then it just gets run up in the auctions...

Apparently there were only 2 in the bidding for the last couple of thousand. I know one of the bidders but he “tapped out”. I personally wouldn’t have paid $3100 for it unless I had a plan for it. Resale value could be a bit tough with that one.

Yeah, I didn't bother placing a single in auction, I just grabbed the popcorn on that one. It seems like the buyer must have a plan. At least I hope so.

A plan or a plan to put a for sale lander on it with a 50K price tag? :) I have seen a few of those around lately. I think they use a Bodis landing page. Some of those landers you can’t even make an offer. Only BIN. I personally think that’s a bit ridiculous. The bar is already set REALLY high so you can’t even negotiate. I would personally set the bar high then have room for negotiation. The buyer will still think they got a great deal on a domain that was listed for $50K even though you really only wanted 20K but still sold it for 25K.

Let's see, this week in tbr I picked up buysilver and kitsilanorealestate.  Was discussing with rlm how realtors are usually so cheap when it comes to domains, but I just like good city + homes, realty or realestate domains regardless because they are so suited to that market.  But realtors sure don't seem to see it unless they can get the domain for 50 bucks lol.

I think I had the same talk with rlm... lol

I like realty names because it should be a no brainer, when your commission on a 2million dollar sale is huge. If they spent 5k on a good domain and sold one house every 10yrs they would have more than paid for that asset. they would be into it for $5,090 after 10yrs. plus some development fees but still you would think it's a killer deal.

When im fishing I like to have two rods a side fishing at 4 different depths to increase my odds of success, why as a realtor wouldn't you want a few more lines in the water?

I also picked up Kits.Realty but that's for another thread.
