Got the above email from Canada Register about k1d.ca and sure enough it is a domain I dropped and it is on this drop:
TBR Drop - Jan 22, 2025 | TBR Domains

It's pretty easy to find out who they are by placing an order and watching who bids.

I have a gut feeling I know who this is anyways.
 
I used to get the odd letter in the mail from something like "Domain Names Canada" to "renew" my names for exorbitant prices, it was a real laugh. I wonder what % of people they fooled with that scheme?

And now I've had a few more "SEO and website services" spams come through on my own domain offer form. I really hope this doesn't become a big thing, I can't imagine anyone would hire them through them spamming a domain offer form, so maybe they'll quit if its not getting them business.
