Reading in the news especially from the federal Liberal govt and the Ontario government they are ready to do 'pandemic style' spending to keep people and businesses afloat if the US tariff war ignites carnage to the Canadian economy and jobs.
First, there is a good chance this could get inflation going again and drive the Canadian dollar even lower.
Second, this is something the federal NDP would be on board with, does this open the door for them to do another deal to prop up the Liberal government and push out the election to October/November? I sure hope not.
