I thought I would wait until the domain was safetly landed in my account before I mentioned it.

So here we go...

I was scouting through the godaddy auction site and saw 3 domains I liked and all of them were over two million asking price.

For fun I used the CIRA contact form to inquire about the domains and I made $2,500 dollar offers on each one of the domains.

Well guess what??

One of the three domains just landed in my account for 0.1% of asking price at a grand total of $2,500 CAD, no tax, no nothing.

Just goes to show asking means nothing, the guy with the money is holding all the cards if the owner of the domain is in need of some quick cash.

Any hints on the name……. Or even the name? :)

There are too many domainers on TBR, this domain would have gone for just over 10k in my estimation, based on similar recent TBR sales.

Mind you twitter.ca was an anomaly and so was another one that bid really high. Can't think of it right now but @theinvestor bid pretty high on that one.
