I still believe that quite a few .ca’s are being sold, just not reported. I definitely don’t report all of my sales. Some are in the $1K-$2K range (liquid domains) so I just don’t report low sales like that as I don’t think it’s good for the industry.
I sold 11 domains for Nov-Dec in that range but agree reporting them makes no sense.
I also sold 32 in the under $250 range
My number one way of buying & selling is member to member via private message.
Having experience there I can tell you there are members actively buying in the background that never report and ask me not to mention our transactions.

I know, but that's the same as with any other TLD. Only a small portion of sales are reported for COM, AI, IO, XYZ, etc.
It's like an iceberg where all you see is the tip showing above the water, with the rest of sales hidden below. The reported sales help gauge overall sales to an extent, but when you don't even see the tip of the iceberg for weeks (or months) on end, that tells me things may not be too rosy in that end of town.
