So I am trying to decide what makes a SOLD domain, is it just an end user sale or does a TBR sale count?

Before we decide I guess we have to look to .com as an example.

Do expiring auctions count toward reported .com sales?

I probably know the answer to this one but I would like to get some community feedback on this one if I could.

If money changes hands it's technically a sale, but you need to be careful separating RETAIL and WHOLESALE transactions.

Let's say Walmart buys some toasters from a manufacturer for $2.50 each. While that is technically a "sale" it's also far different than a retail sale to an end user where a model with those specs and features regularly sells for $30.

These "sales" are apples and oranges, so you cannot mix them all up and present them in the same way.
