VW is one of the most protected trademarks in the world and I speak from personal experience because I actually lost a domain containing the letter VW in my early days of domaining. It's the only legal judgement I ever lost but it still stings to this day. So I caution anyone using any portion of the VW trademark for business/commerce because the day when VolksWagen comes knocking on your door may not be far away.
