That is from 2019, today he is pro-Crypto and bitcoin.

I think we will see the US get more friendly towards crypto, and stop blocking it the way the previous administration did.

Trump wants to make the US the leader in crypto and blockchain, so we should see the industry grow and find out what it's potential really is for finance, banking and other uses.

I would sell in bitcoin as long as there was a trusted escrow, or the buyer was willing to pay first before getting the domain. You can always convert the bitcoin to USD or CAD right after you get it. If crypto can't be trusted for transactions like this, then it has no future, so I think it will be.

Yeah I don't know why they had to do meme coins, that was strange and unexpected. Hopefully those who participated knew it was high risk and should only be thought of as entertainment. Not an investment but more of a souvenir is how I'd think of it.

Nothing like having your newly elected leader run a blatant pyramid scheme for self benefit.

Were he and his wife really behind the coins? You never know these days and with so many coins out there, it's hard to keep track of what's official and what's not. Exhibit A: Hawk Tuah...apparently some people just threw a bunch of money at her for her name and scammed people. And given that she is no Einstein, she took the payday without asking too many questions

With Trump you always gotta expect some stuff is gonna come out of left field. It should be an interesting 4 years. He sure has the attention of Canadian politicians these days. The Liberal party is trying to use the American tariff situation as a reason for Canadians to rally around the Liberals, but it won't work.

Well that's obvious. To make himself money off the backs of suckers.

Anything with MEME should be a warning sign, you have to be a bloody idiot to invest.

That said you're running two loads shy of a full load if you invest in any of the newer coins, even bitcoin and ripple are a risk especially with Trump saying the USA needs a coin that it controls.

PS MapleCoin.com kinda has a good ring to it for Canada

Can't use .ca because most coins are traded worldwide.

The TRUMP token isn't even wild by crypto standards, started at $10 CAD last week, topped at $107, went down to $36, and is now at $56. I would bet most people bought one or a few for an inauguration memento or because they are Trump supporters, not to make a killing.
