Wanted this somewhat random two word .com.

It also goes to show why good domains get dropped sometimes, many people working in companies (and everywhere) still don't know or understand the value of a good domain.

Wanted this somewhat random two word .com.

Lol, that's what I get for only reading the clipped part of the post. Would be great to pick up a domain at auction or TBR like that and be contacted later by an aggressive buyer who'd been trying to buy the domain previously.

Wanted this somewhat random two word .com.

Made a very aggressive offer of $1000.... doesn't sound right. :D

    SOLD.ca Say.ca, Corp.ca & Row.ca - The .CA Market Must be Worse than I Thought

I think I would take MapleDots 3 domains, just to get Blow.ca That is the kind of magical four letter one word domain that has limitless possibilities, at least they get good sales in .com and .ai - the ideal being you get a big co using the .com and wanting the .ca for Canada. But really you...

Official - Offers I declined today

This is a good idea for a post. The stats on some of my pages give the IP and company name of a visitor which has helped me in the past.

    SOLD.ca Say.ca, Corp.ca & Row.ca - The .CA Market Must be Worse than I Thought

I'd be curious to know the number of people that follow and bid at the TBR auctions, vs the number of people that visit this forum.

    SOLD.ca Say.ca, Corp.ca & Row.ca - The .CA Market Must be Worse than I Thought

It's probably worth a try anyway to see if they can find a system that works, and reserves shouldn't be allowed to be set ultra high. Should be kept in the same spirit as a TBR, not an auction to end users. Given the TBR quality sometimes it's hard to think a curated list of submitted domains...

    SOLD.ca EZweb.ca & JeuxDeCasino.ca

Part of me feels like that, and another part feels it's a casino market name and maybe I undersold. They just accepted my $5k price so maybe there was room. I think they might be setting up some affiliate or white label type site but who knows. Both names I sold are just sitting unused.

    SOLD.ca Say.ca, Corp.ca & Row.ca - The .CA Market Must be Worse than I Thought

Maybe but I think WHC or whoever does it will just have to be picky about the names they list. You get a few bidders going in on Say.ca or Row.ca knowing there is no reserve price, it would just start feeling the same. Though for quality domains like that they should have some kind of minimum...

    SOLD.ca EZweb.ca & JeuxDeCasino.ca

Sold two .ca's in March Given there are some recent .ca sales posted - I sold these two in March: ezweb.ca $1500 US via DomainEasy tried to negotiate a little higher but buyer was firm, had held this domain a long time and almost sold in a similar range years ago, so decided to let go...

    SOLD.ca Say.ca, Corp.ca & Row.ca - The .CA Market Must be Worse than I Thought

Well at some point you have to pull some cash out of your domains, even premiums can sit for years and years waiting for the right buyer. I wonder if it was the same owner who sold, maybe they have dozens of domains like that. With $6000 US you can do a few things. I agree the buyer got a...

    SOLD: 4 Letter.ca for 65k USD

I've registered quite a few 4L.ca's that start with 'bc' for the obvious reason that they could be used by a company or organization in BC, like bcse and so on. There are a few letters nice to have on the end, and the third letter usually anything other than z, q, v, and the likes. I hope to...

    SOLD: 4 Letter.ca for 65k USD

It's a good example of how domains can sell at anytime regardless of what's going on in the economy, companies are always planning something and thinking longer term that just the current economic climate.
