Afternic Service is Sucking @ 25%

Thank god I bought most of mine a couple of decades ago and the cost was minimal compared to today. (av maybe $50). Anyway, the funds landed tonight a couple of days early. I don't know if it was James' intercession or I just got lucky. And they only charged me $50 for the transfer...🙄 I don't...

Afternic Service is Sucking @ 25%

Sale just updated (perhaps thanks to James' intervention) with a payout date of the 17th. Previous discussions with support have told me they do it in the afternoon which means it's likely I won't see the money till Monday. If memory serves me, their last wire took three business days to...

Afternic Service is Sucking @ 25%

It was a .com and Fabulous allows you to log in and approve the transfer instantly. Got the offer Wed night and provided codes the next morning, approved the transfer shortly after as soon as Fab notified me they received it. The transfer was completed Thurs morning. I'm not going to sit by for...

Afternic Service is Sucking @ 25%

LOL, you know me too well. I don't think I'm going to report the sale. I thought about writing an article about this 25% and see if he'll publish it. I hit them on Twitter too. There's no excuse for a week's delay and when their support tells me they need that time to VERIFY the transaction...

Afternic Service is Sucking @ 25%

You'd think if they were going to raise their rates to 25% service would improve. Last year we had a few hundred dollars disappear from a transaction during the payment process and got nothing but BS and a runaround from them. This time they took a $2500 commission on a domain sold and...

    Super crazy domainer

Wow, how the market has changed. I didn't know .rocks was an extension. Don't think I ever got that far down the endless list. And Maple, a super premium 10m domain to boot. Blows all my conceptions out of the water. PS: I'm repricing my domains as we speak.

    OFFERS Plays.ca and others

Domains no longer for sale. Sorry, but we've always served a market much bigger than Canada. All our prices are US and I see that isn't permitted here. I'm not keen on the idea of having to maintain multiple price lists and keep them up to date with currency fluctuations. Please feel free to...

The thing is, if you're not out there, you're not seen to be a contender. Lack of reporting even 2000 sales contributes to that. And don't get me started on the locked-up Canadian gov mentality that doesn't allow foreigners to own...!
