Not sure why anyone would post a “possible” sale before it’s even done while still negotiating… Unless he already sold it and is just seeing the responses he will be getting from X.
 
Two possibilities:

1) It already sold
2) There was never a negotiation to begin with
 
Sure, but that's understood with #2 - he's faking a negotiation to hype up the domain. :geek:
