Your role as a nomination committee member
The committee’s role is vital in ensuring that CIRA members have a slate of qualified candidates from which they will elect board directors. You will evaluate applicants and select professional candidates who represent a wide range of views and interests and who will ultimately contribute to the strategic direction of CIRA.
Your skills and experience
We are seeking Canadians who:
* understand the experiences of a diverse range of industry sectors
* have governance experience (mandatory)
* have experience identifying and selecting superior candidates
* have an interest in supporting the development of the internet in Canada
Candidates applying to become a member of the nomination committee must be available to meet virtually on the following dates: May 6, 2022 and June 30, 2022.
