Welcome aboard

Very nice site, good prices, nice shopping basket but why the 10% discount coupon on checkout. Do you really want to give away another 10% on a $99 domain?

I think a number of your domains are undervalued but you did a fantastic job on the site.

-additional 10% off? Yes, the whole premise behind the idea of creating the site was to offer small business dreamers and owners
something that I felt was workable at a really decent price. Heck I bought northbrand for .99

Starting a business is not necessarily a cheap venture, every business is unique, with different startup costs.
Not everyone needs a ten thousand dollar domain name to make it work.

Welcome, your site looks great! one of the best I've seen.

My only issue / concern is your prices, all your prices are wholesale / domainer / clubhouse level pricing. The amount of work that you put into the site, hosting, maintenance, domain fees ( probably hold time 3yrs on some @$10 ), your time to create the logo and on top of that giving a 10% discount doesn't leave any or much room for profit.

My opinion on the small business is that if they cannot afford a $1,500 ++ domain to brand their online business then how are they going to afford all the rest of what goes into a small online business.

just my view, but great site..

I think $99 is too low a minimum price, unless it's a domain you've had a while and decided to get rid of.

But if you're regging at $10 or less per year, and selling many of these within the first year or two, that's still a good return and adds up. But you could be leaving money on the table.

I would at least go to a $199 minimum, even if the $99 min is working for you. You could lose half your customers and still be making the same. just a thought.
 
Welcome to DN and you have made a great addition. The site is tastefully made and obviously the pricing is in Cad, which is very reasonable. Wonder how many you have sold so far.

While I do agree some of the names are undervalued, I really like the idea of selling affordable premium domains to new business owners who might not have the capital to drop $x,xxx+ right off the bat.

Do you offer additional services like website design? I'd definitely be upselling, especially since you're targeting new business owners who might not have the time or skills.

This might be sustainable as a loss leader if you're successfully upselling web design and hosting services. If not, consider increasing prices but offer a payment plan. Or don't sell the domains at all, only lease the domains at set tier prices (like $99/year, $199/yr, $299/yr, etc) instead of a one time sale.
 
It's like a Costco opening up next to a local business, everything at Costco is at fire sale prices compared to the local business. I think listing everything at $99 only hurts the average domainer and adds fuel to the inquiries we get saying it's a .ca it's only worth $49-$99.

I like Robs comment, Set up a payment plan suited for start ups, $500 down and a monthly instalment of $99. And that would be the focus of the site, getting start ups into great domains that lessens the entry burden, and if the business fails they walk away with a minimal loss.

I have to disagree as I think this is a great way to get beginners comfortable with purchasing premium domains. I'm sure everyone on this forum knows the pros of having a good domain, but the average joe doesn't. If they're benefiting from a $99 domain, they're going to be more inclined to purchase a higher priced one in the future.

What works for me is selling 1 domain and making what he makes in a year, that is my motto but if he does not mind hard work then his will work for him.... at least for a while until expenses and multi year holding times add up.

I agree with that given the right quality of domains - which you have to be willing to seriously invest in. For the domains he's selling - that's obviously not a possibility.
