Yeah I know...but I still have 200- 300 domains there, I need some good sales to help me transfer them outFYI, Epik is a sinking ship - get your domains out! Although, note that Whois says the domain is at Hexonet.
Anyone know what the relationship is with Epik & Hexonet?
Since Hexonet is the registrar, I don't think you need to transfer them out. I just think you need to demand that Hexonet move them under local control in the Hexonet interface, given the situation with Epik.Yeah I know...but I still have 200- 300 domains there, I need some good sales to help me transfer them out![]()

Hexonet is the registrar... They have the responsibility to the customer - and if anything went wrong, I'd expect CIRA to hold Hexonet responsible, that is who CIRA has an arrangement with, not Epik.I wonder if that is possible, I think Epik would have to relinquish.
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I was only asking about .CA. And actually, it seems very simple. We agree that the customer should have the ability to contact Hexonet directly to manage/renew their domains. Only Hexonet is authorized to be a registrar by CIRA. If they do not honour Epik's client's requests to manage and renew their domains, I could only assume that they'd be putting their own privilege & license as a CIRA registrar at risk.@rlm so, this is not a simple answer and I can only comment on .CA. It is possible that "Epik" is a reseller with Hexonet (we typically do not have visibility of resellers unless a registrar shares that information directly with us) and in that situation Epik customers have the ability to contact Hexonet directly in the event they do not get support form Epik. Domains registered at Hexonet are from our perspective managed and under the authority of Hexonet, full stop. From our perspective, there are no domains "in" Epik. In Canada, Epik operates as "All Internet" so you would see any direct CA registrations under that Registrar.
So,@omelet , that would be my advice, start talking to Hexonet, if you don't have an account, create one, then ask for your domains to be pushed to your Hexonet account due to the fact that you cannot trust Epik to be responsible for your domain management, or with any funds you deposit. That concern is well documented now.
PM sent.friends how much do you really think this domain could reach?
Unfortunately, Patrick passed earlier this year. But support@hexonet.net might help in general too.
