B2B Brand Bees Upgrades to Bees.com After Digimedia Acquisition

Bees, a B2B brand, has been a hive of activity since forming in 2019. The company was created thanks to a partnership between drinks companies AB Inbev and subsidiary Ambev, with Bees currently boasting 900,000 monthly active users in 11 different countries.

AB Inbev owns and operates some of the most well recognized drinks brands on the planet, including Budweiser, Corona, and Stella Artois. Bees offers e-commerce and SaaS solutions for small and medium businesses.

After being built by two of the world’s largest drinks brands, Bees has been operating on MyBees.com and associated ccTLDs for the first two years of its existence, but now the company has performed a significant upgrade by switching to Bees.com.

The domain acquisition, first spotted by Elliot Silver on Twitter, saw Bees.com move from Tucows to corporate domain management company CSC, which houses the company’s other domains, too.

Bees.com was sold by Digimedia, an Oklahoma-based company that owns and operates a vast portfolio filled with some of the most desirable domain names in existence. Some names still owned by Digimedia include Bed.com, Inn.com, Dark.com, Read.com, and Cook.com to name but a few.

That would make a great research site for bees but not so great for business

Nonetheless, you would not dare drop it for fear of losing a payday.

A lot of the new TLD's are like that, the renewals will continue on the prime one words hoping for a payday.
Some people get lucky, some don't.
