Remember the NBA Top Shot nft cards? In 2021 they were going for 10's and 100's of thousands of dollars. Now not so much.
I remember a guy on Twitter who'd gotten in early and had over $100,000 value in cards at the time, was talking like he would hold forever and prices would keep going up. For his sake I hope he sold some.
Not to say that NFT collecting will likely get more advanced in coming years when everyone can do it easily with better technology, and these early NFTs might regain or surpass their value, but it was a market craze at the time.
