I noticed this story today:

about CEO.ca, a developed website for investors, being acquired for CAD $6 million in cash + approximately $10 million worth of equity. I'd never heard of the site until today, but it has a respectable Alexa ranking of around 38,000:

Reading an excerpt from the “letter from the ceo”,

“ He’d scoured the globe assessing countless projects. The culmination of that multi-year effort was one day stepping out of a helicopter in remote Newfoundland and seeing visible gold in the rocks under his feet! Incredibly, much of the area was open for staking. And the rest is history.”

Quite the story! I was born in Newfoundland and moved away before I became a teenager. I don’t recall any gold under my feet like that. Great story and great find.
