Its because people know there are no consequences like at afternic or godaddy.

It would be simple to put in the same policies but I think like everything at dan, the push is to get you to afternic.


Here is something interesting

What is the number one reason people still stay at dan?

Answer: The fast payout, in fact the entire payment system.


I predict dan will become the new GoDaddy payment system in the end.

So at the very end it will be Afternic with fast payout by dan.com

I can't shake it, that keeps coming to mind.

I don't know - I think GD likes the slow payment system at Afternic - it's great for cashflow and interest (now that rates are up).

I'd kill for a fake offer

Been using Dan for about 3 or 4 years and have only sold one domain and can count the "offers" on one hand. But as soon I as I flip back to Afternic landers, I get sales on names that didn't get a sniff on Dan

I think at some point I'm going to try Afternic for a month just to see, as Dan is becoming less than useless.

I'm going to have to do some housekeeping first, as not everything made it to Afternic in the pre-authorization days and finding + adding those stragglers could take a bit.

I like the Dan landing pages though, they look good and easy for a potential buyer to work with.
