DomainEasy Launches an Ambitious Platform (3.Viewing)

I am getting offers and they are in USD so you have to factor that in.

Hi investmentsorg @investmentsorg

Does DomainEasy have an exit strategy to sell out to Godaddy at some point? I know you can never say never but like with DNS and then Dan, domainers get all set up on a platform and then it gets bought by Godaddy, which has been a drag. Would rather that you have a vision or intention to run this long term as long as it can grow into a viable business. Which it should be able to given other platform higher costs. I would rather you actually charge something like a 5% commission because 0 isn't sustainable.

I thought I read that Richard Lau is involved with DomainEasy, which to me gives some added credibility as with Tessa.

I have been slowly adding names to DomainEasy, will see how it goes. Nice to see they are getting some sales and exposure to the platform.

It will feel weird to sell a domain on a platform and not pay a commission. I feel they should at least charge 3%, but I guess they are trying to pull more domains to their platform and that helps a lot. Plus it's only 0% for the first year, after that I'm sure some kind of fee will come in.

1. They have switched button and navigation colours from yellow to orange
(same as was, hopefully won't cause any confusion)

2. You can now enter a complete personal profile, business profile, or both in settings.
(great if you are a part time or full time domainer)

3. Payouts are done twice monthly on the 1st and on the 15th of the month.

4. So far they offer payout by wise.com or wire transfer.

Here's an update from them on NamePros.com

As soon as they start charging 9% commission they're dead in the water and they know it. They have little to no revenue stream to put into development which is why other than simple layout changes there have been no features added. I'd support them if development continued but the writing for domain easy is on the wall.

They aren't very active in any of the online domain news I see. Posting a sale or some kind of activity would at least keep them in people's minds. And you'd think they need to start charging some level of commission to get some revenues coming in, even 5% beats everyone else.
