My opinion on Wix...
They are actually quite slick, I remember way back I was thinking Wix Forum software or Xenforo. The Wix software felt more modern and slick and setting it up and maintaining it was an absolute breeze.
Other than that things started to look not as rosy...
1. The price added up fast if you wanted advanced features
2. There was no way to port out, the data was stuck at Wix forever with no export tools available anywhere.

It was a killer, no self respecting admin would commit to staying with one service with no exit strategy, it made no sense so I made the decision to go with Xenforo.
