Epik can't pay any of its users right now (4.Viewing)



Bastards at epik pretending masterbucks is to blame, I want my money NOW period.
 
That's brutal man, hope you get your money. Thankfully it's pretty rare, but there are a few dirt bags in this business. A couple of them are registered right here on this board. For handling domain sales, I trust Escrow.com or funds deposited directly to my bank account, and that's about it. Otherwise there's no transfer. I hope its not a terribly crippling loss, but its not looking good at this point. I hope they can find a way out of this hole just so people can get paid what they're due. But in my mind, no sliver of reputation or trust will ever be restored for Epik, at least not from me.
 
If they keep taking funds knowing they can't payout it's fraud.

Someone's gotta take these bastards to court, Rob Monster is a fucking crook.

Scare tactic to convince people to settle for pennies on the dollar rather than getting nothing?? Or are both Epik & RM circling the drain one final time around? The problem in a business like this is that no one wants to use their services with those kind of headlines and their income stream has to have completely tanked. There's no way to recover, just liquidate assets... And it sounds like stealing some assets is priority #1 so they have something to liquidate!

Have to agree that a bird in the hand is still worth two in the bush. Wise advice, imo, to renew and transfer out. I'm moving mine now only because of the two posts here (and from Nov), just saw them now. Thanks for the heads up

I heard it from a reliable source they're folding for sure
If you're holding domains at epik I suggest you remove them before things lock up.

Your domains should be safe, I'm confident that CIRA would see to that. Right @richard.schreier ? However, your money isn't. If you have credit and can use it on renewals, absolutely do that asap.
