Flying Nickel Mining, listed on the Toronto stock exchange, purchased the name at some point in the first half of the year for CAD 313,977, according to a regulatory filing from its parent, Silver Elephant Mining.
The CEO who bought it is on Twitter, I think I asked him about the sale when it happened. They spun a few companies out of Silver Elephant, one for nickel, one for vanadium, and one for battery metals I think. I own some shares in all of them, they are pretty early stage explorers except for Silver Elephant which I think has a silver resource.
Seems nickel.com would be better owned by one of the big existing mining companies that actually produce nickel, and not a small exploration company with an early stage nickel property, but who knows. it may help him promote the stock better.
