Good luck to the buyer of Surpreme.ai (1 Viewing)

If it was actually Supreme.ai, it would have sold for a LOT more than $2K.

Hehe.... but to be honest, it happened to me once too.
I have tried to buy domains before that people have owned for over a decade, and only then realized it was typo.

It happened last year on a 2002 reg where the party offered the correct spelling and owned the typo. It was only then they realized.

I am sure the winning bidder thought they were bidding on the correct spelling.

It's not like there is a big .AI market for crappy typos.

It's the danger of using social proof to pile into auctions that already have bids. You see a bunch of bids, and assume it is a good domain (and the correct spelling).

Oh I know and it's like those Lnvestor or Lnternet domains - they always end up selling to illiterates, but at much, much, much lower prices that the real word would.

Check out the Surpreme .com site logo.

Some have money to burn. Check out the recent registrations of Grok domains. 🤦‍♂️

They are begging for a dispute / lawsuit from the famous company.
