Google Taking Steps to Expand E-Commerce Platform (1 Viewing)

Google is partnering with Shopify with updated product search tools based on screenshots and images, and will enable Shopify’s 1.7 million merchants to get their products featured across Google “in just a few clicks”.

I think this could have an effect on which e-commerce platform merchants may choose to use. Anything that works well with Google is usually a good thing for your website. It is always interesting that when you run Google Ads, your organic rankings also tend to go up.
