I can see where some might question the registration. The .com had been developed a long time, so the .ca registratant assuming they'd want to expand to Canada one day.
But in defence of it, there are a LOT, as in like 5000+ {something}box.ca registrations, there is an entire industry of curated box monthly delivery services. IMO it is easily arguable that a curated periodic box delivery service of health supplements or products would have completely been a generic and fair use concept for registering the domain.
That's really my point, that buying a pile of unrelated WORD + WORD .ca domains doesn't give you very good odds for achieving a profit on a portfolio like that. And sure, WORD + BOX might make sense to some, but I still don't like it as an investment strategy.
But you are right that the price of the one you might sell per year is in line with that sale, but I still think your STR is going to be pretty bad.

While I agree that targeting seemingly unrelated word+word domains in hopes the .com comes to canada, well yes, that's a poor strategy for multiple reasons.
But in this case, I just know how big that box industry is, and yes, people have registered damn near any word+box domain, so this one might not be the best example for your case.
