Is it possible to include privately owned .ca domains in public TBR auctions similar to the DropCatch marketplace?
What happens is that there’s a set minimum bidding price (determined by the auctioneer) for all domains regardless of their status. If somebody bids on it, they get included in the “Live Auction.” Once the auction closes, the auctioneer can then charge a percentage-based commission on the sold domain.
If there’s no bid, they expire after 7 days and get listed again on the next drop until a bid is received.
What do you guys think? Is this a good idea? How hard is it to implement a feature like this?
