Note the little asterisk. That godaddy deal is bait and switch. it requires 2 years registration, the second year is $25.... So do the math, still more expensive than any of our regular registrars.

Godaddy runs that type of offer non-stop $0.99 for .ca domain but it's based on a 2yr registration. and to make is sound even better they limit to One domain.

They’ve been running this *asterisk* offer for ages. Always disliked it.
