Interesting Bodis lander management (1 Viewing)

I signed up to test some of the bodis landers for myself and it is quite interesting, especially the FOR SALE pages, which unfortunately generate no income for Bodis. I was not able to bring myself to use the ad pages because of the risk losing a domain to the CDRP or UDRP process.

The one thing I noticed though that was very slick is....

If a domainer has the ads specified to load and I visit the page with my ad blocker engaged I used to get a blank page. Now it skips the AD page and goes directly to the for sale lander.


The example domain I am using is Lyric.ca

Very interesting how Bodis does that.

When I visit lyric.ca it forwards me to excellent.ca.

Hmm, it does seem to do that on mobile and I know you use mobile almost excusively.

It did that for me on mobile but when I used the Kiwi browser instead of the chrome browser I saw the bodis page.

Definitely bodis on desktop though.

I see the same as @Nafti on all my devices.

Latest whois update is today's date.

Yup, looks like someone read it here and changed from Bodis to Excellent domains.

As soon as I emptied my cache it also forwarded to Excellent for me.

More people read this forum than you know, we have a lot of lurkers.

Remember in the past you just got an empty page when visiting with an adblocker.

I really feel like you should give the parking pages a try, in my unbiased opinion of course

So I ended up moving some domains to Bodis and it works like this....

If they serve no ads you get the For Sale lander and if the domain serves ads you get the ad page with a link to your lander.

So if the end user has an ad blocker you used to get a blank page which was not good, instead it now automatically forwards to the new lander.

The lander has an amazingly clean look and I moved my dan.com domains over because I have a secret plan to get out of godaddy commissions.

It has worked twice for me in the last month and commission paid by me was a big ZERO!!

Interesting right?
