It's a way to assure advertisers are not paid until an ad's clicked.

Most likely a Google requirement for 2 click landers for tracking purposes.

Did you mean probably mean "It's a way to assure publishers/the parking company are not paid until an ad is clicked" or "the advertisers are not charged until an ad is clicked"? I'm confused.

I thought GD was cheating Google by not showing the ad until the click kinda thing...
