Lavish (1 Viewing)

Anyone here sell this domain about a 1.5 years ago?

@rlm All I could confirm is that I did not own it at anytime but it was the 1818th domain on the TBR list on Jan 5th, 2006. Was picked up by our colleagues at 401.ca and was sold in 2018 to someone.

Ok if no one wants to fess up I'll just tell ya what I found out.

The owner of lavish is buying out a different company and wanted to upgrade the acquisition with a better domain - which is why he was talking to me. But he was wanting to swap for lavish straight up and I said there's nothing in it for me to swap, if I'm going to swap, it has to be a clear win for me. So I told him what I thought lavish was worth wholesale value / tbr value and he then revealed he bought it late 2021 for $8500 CAD + GST - so that was a no go for him because he wasn't willing to eat that loss either. So I told him he might have a better chance selling the existing site & domain as a package rather than domain only. In any case, just thought it'd be interesting to know for whoever sold it in the first place.

lavish.ca looks like a nive website but the wrong name. To me lavish says luxury not running shoes so it would be interesting to know what he is pursuing or what he found.

Sorry, I did not own that domain but the website lavish.ca is excellent.

History, for anyone that is interested....

1. Domain picked up in 2006 TBR by a former domainer
2. Domain sold in 2016 as part of a 33 domain bundle for $3300 CAD ($100/domain)
3. Domain listed for sale for $5000 CAD in 2018 (no takers, including many of you)
4. Domain sold in 2021 for $9000 CAD

So it sounds like you were the seller in 2021! Sorry if I outed you - but I gave everyone a day to contact me first if they didn't want it outed

You are right.. It is Luxury .. everything there is Lavish, including the running shoes.
