I wish Cira would keep the age of the domain if it’s picked up in the TBR, reset only the ones the actually are returned to the public for hand reg.

This! Just like how you win auctions in GoDaddy. You keep the original registration date as some buyers prefer older domains to newly registered ones.

I totally agree with that, as I can't tell you how many times I've bought an expensive domain on the TBR, and one of the first words out of a potential buyer's mouth is...

"Since you just registered it ("for $10" is not stated but conveyed)..."
