and why was loca.ca worth over $16k to someone?

Loca was only registered in 2019. just saw the registrant is Automotive Group.

Damn, I remember seeing Loca on a TBR and I was thinking of grabbing it. Similar to Loco, it means wild or crazy in Spanish (remember that song Livin la Vida Loca?) but it didn't rate high enough for me to spend the cash on.

I just looked and it was picked up late (Pick 101) in that TBR by Baremetal and later transferred to the new owner Mike Priestner Automotive Group at namepoos.

I guess that was a mistake...
