Major Software Upgrade to Xenforo 2.3 (1.Viewing)

In the near future we will be updating the Xenforo core software to version 2.3 which is a major upgrade in how the software functions.

Unfortunately DN.ca is highly customized, which means a lot of the add-ons will have to be re-written to work with version 2.3.

We have a couple of software technicians on standby and will try to get everything done as smoothly as possible, but do expect errors on some functions as we iron out all the code changes.


Although a number of our addon's come from official Xenforo sources many of them are also customized and we are currently trying to set a date where all our developers can come together with minimal downtime. It will have to be done in two stages where we update the official addon's first and the customized ones second.

Downtime will be relegated to two Sundays and we cannot say for how long as all systems will have to be tested to assure all the customization's are functioning properly.

We will make additional announcements soon and hope the experience goes smoothly for everyone.
