I haven't been around or posted much at all lately so I thought I would share how I sold Miam (in .ca) at Dan for 2899 USD.

Miam is french for yum, for those who don't know.

I feel like i undersold... but... as people were discussing today... selling french domains isn't easy so i decided to sell. It is my first french domain sale too.

I had a bin of 3300, came down a little, and then stopped and stuck to my 2899 until they accepted it. I didn't give myself much wiggle room and the domain should have been priced higher to begin with probably.

I had about 12 offers from 3-4 different people on GD auctions but the highest before this was only 300. My research also told me they didn't have the deepest pockets so i think it worked out well for the both of us.

Cheers.

Don't sweat it. Decent offers on french domains, especially in this economy, are probably few and far between so take the win...and the profits :)

Congrats on the sale

Welcome back, enough relaxing, we need you to post now :ROFLMAO:

Congratulations and I would have made that sale too.

Just today I had a "broker" contact me with an interested buyer for a French animal name. His offer? $199 CAD.

You can't call that a broker, a real broker would have higher fee than that entire sale.
