SOCIAL My favourite Twitter post today (7.Viewing)

In high school (the mid 80's) I worked for the city street department during the summers - filling in for people on summer vacations, doing everything from animal control, filling potholes, cutting weeds, but it was mostly spent doing garbage. It was actually fun most of the time (unless you got some real disgusting garbage covered in maggots) and yes, we would play games like this seeing how fast we could rip through parts of the route running along chucking garbage bags. Most of the time though there weren't bags, they were garbage bins and after you dumped it into the back you'd try to toss it back to the curb and get it to land upside down, kinda like kids do the water bottle flip challenge. But that was back in the day when a garbage man was allowed to freely ride on the back of the truck. That's way too dangerous for the risk intolerant society of today, where the majority of people now have grown up too stupid to live safely without a zillion rules...
