This weekend was a big weekend for me and I declined 3 offers.

Then I realized I have never made an official topic where members could post offers they declined.

So here we go, this weekend I declined...

AirPass.ca - I declined a 4k cold offer

Blow.ca - I declined a 1.5k offer

Things.ca - I declined a 5k offer

1. Airpass.ca - has a price of 12.5k and this is its 4th offer

2. Blow.ca - this is the only offer on it so far but something tells me it has a higher end value than 1.5k to the right user.

3. Things.ca - has a much bigger potential and I quoted 25k

On a good note I sold a domain from a catalog I purchased from a member of dn.ca and the domain sold for 7k with cost $2.38 via Wise.com to complete.
Acquisition cost is hard to pin down exactly because it was a catalog purchase, but it is the 3rd domain I have sold from that catalog now covering 42% of the catalog acquisition cost.

Why did I make this topic?

I wanted to show members that when you hit critical mass (meaning you own a large number of domains) there is good activity and the offers do come in.

I use Umami web stats on my landers and each day I check where the traffic is coming from and the greatest help has been seeing which city the traffic is coming from so domains that get offers I can often pin down where the traffic originates from, what browser was used, how many times the same person visited etc.

Here are some of my figures from this weekend on visitors to some of my top performing domains.

Does it mean there were almost 40,000 visitors to domains in your catalog over the weekend? That's impressive!

My top performers take thousands of visitors, domains like pandora.ca have insane traffic.

I also own a lot of domains, 3 distinct catalogs, I combine my webstats by using the script on all my landers.

It's actually pretty easy because my domains forward to the same folder on my server so everything is nicely tracked.

I do however experiment with different marketplaces and will redirect my published domains to different marketplaces to see if I get more responses using them instead of my landers. So far I have seen nothing that would indicate to me that I need a service. Some marketplaces actually intimidate clients and I have found having a direct email address available on the lander increases engagement dramatically.
