Do you really think they want stable housing prices, a population level the country can actually support, and low inflation?

Nope, it's all MORE, MORE, MORE! for them until we all drown.

We had a yard sale on the weekend, my wife's parents have downsized and we were getting rid of all the things they no longer needed. Despite the work of hauling everything around, etc, one nice part was some of the people you meet and have some fun conversations with. I did have the feeling that you don't get those random meetings and conversations as much as in the past, and when you do you notice things have changed.
