Just posting some of the activity I've had so far in 2021, sorry not full details. Great start to the year for the domain sales market it seems.

sold a 'city+homes.ca' in the BC lower mainland area for $4.5k US through Godaddy/Uni recently. That 20% GD commission is brutal, almost makes you want to ignore their emails lol.

two word golf related .ca domain also sold recently for $1.5k CAD

had a $2k offer from a BC based broker on a two word .ca that after some digging is probably coming from a billion dollar Canadian co. now just waiting and haven't thrown a price out yet.

had a $30k US offer for a short one word .ca also pretty sure coming from a billion dollar co. holding out for six figs.

had some initial $500 and $1000 first offers on domains this year which is nice to see, instead of the usual $20 and $50 max offers.

I know some here are pretty good with detective work but please don't post any names in the thread, lol. Just wanting to share some activity, I think at this time everybody should be taking a close look at their domains and pricing and what is selling out there, because if the domain market continues this way the owners of good and great domains will do well over this time. So many start ups and new products/services that need naming.

What city size was the city+ if that’s ok to ask?

Thanks

yeah, I'm seeing a good stream of inquiries, including several going through brokers, but none really offering up big bucks, no 5+ figure sales yet this year. I've turned down a few offers $2500 USD and under.

The CSC broker that inquired about propel told me the client chose another domain - but he wouldn't say anything about the domain or the size of the transaction...

No doubt. Maple's GoDaddy strategy is probably best - and probably what I would do if I ever listed my domains there too.
