RideTheWind.ca - with a little help from MapleDots (1 Viewing)

Bought this e-bike for my son at: RideTheWindEBikes.ca



Could not help myself, had to make a suggestion to the nice lady.

She has RideTheWindEBikes.ca & RideTheWindEBikeRentals.ca and probably some other variations.

So I checked and RideTheWind.ca was available and I told her to go register it because now she owns her brand and can do this...

ebikes.ridethewind.ca or ridethewind.ca/ebikes

She can also sell scooters, boat motors or whatever and her RideTheWind brand is protected.

Super nice lady, she registered with godaddy as we were on the phone and she is the proud owner of a GREAT new domain with a 100% brand hit.
Normally I would have registered it and sold it back to her but she is such a nice person I would have felt like crap doing that.

Anyways, for fun I ended up buying two so my son and I can go biking for fun, he is 15 so this is super safe for him to start on and I thought it would be a good father and son bonding experience.










They look like Motorcycles but are really bicycles, they have a top LEGAL speed of 32km (unless you throw the hidden switch then 80km) and are legal to drive without plates and insurance. Just make sure to put on an e-bike plate and don't throw the high speed switch unless you're on private property.


So it's been a fun day and and I told my son he has to sell a domain to make up for this.

Had even more fun with the kids yesterday




My kids love to ride, can't wait for my boy to hit 18 in a couple of years and we will get a couple of real super bikes.

Looks like fun, I'm sure I'd love it, and I've sure thought about getting a dual sport. The problem is, no one else in my family would do it. And I already have too many hobbies I don't have time for them all. I bet its a blast though.

It's an insane amount of fun and with all the safety gear it is difficult to get hurt. The biggest hurtle is the boots, they are very hard and clumsy but the first time you put your foot down and hut a rock when making a tight turn you appreciate them.

We started on a smaller track and my son and I ended up on the larger one. After that we hit the trails for a couple of hours and tracking through the trees was the most fun. You never know what to expect around the next corner so it always challenges your skills.

PS. For all the members, I'm heading down to South Carolina with my family on Friday and staying to just after labour day. Our goal is to see how many small engine sports we can cram in. Last time we went para sailing and rented some seadoos so it will be interesting to see how we top that.

I used to live next door in Savannah (Wilmington Island).

Small world, we like the drive out and break it up into two days to stop for some adventures along the way. I also love driving through the mountain tunnels.
