Damn, I was hoping this would reveal the domain name, as I've been waiting for that since Mark tweeted about it on the 21st.

My guess is AA.ca. :p

For sure it would be nice to know what that two word .ca was that sold at 57k. Must be something special!

maybe gambling or finance related?

wonder how that negotiation went, what was the initial offer if the counter was 11k.
I know what the domain was (not mine obviously). Would it be inappropriate to post it here since the seller blacked it out?

Depends on where you got the info. If it was in the public domain then reposting is ok, anything on the internet is accessible. If it was conveyed to you verbally then I would say don't post it until the owner mentions it somewhere.

I just know what domains he had listed for sale, so it was pretty simple deduction to see which domain was recently transferred, which happened to be an LLL.ca...

Have you moved to Kelowna?? You're slowly moving my direction. Once you get sick of the Kelowna chaos, maybe Vernon will be your next stop? Then we can do an occasional business lunch.

My guess would be a US or European company establishing their Canadian presence.
