So I open my domain account manager in Godaddy and I get the advertisement above.

I have never seen that before and have never been directly advertised to in my Domain Manager before.
 
Yeah I saw one too today. Looks like a new thing, haven't seen that before (and I even have a few domains listed with them too...)
