TBR BUYBACK TOPIC

I was talking in another topic that sometimes bidders will win a domain in TBR are later decide maybe they bid on too many auctions and feel they could have spent the money elsewhere.

It gave me an idea to open a topic to allow members to post TBR wins to see if anyone else want's it at the winning or near the winning price.

So if you purchased a TBR domain, and can state the winning bid, feel free to post it for sale here to see if you can recoup your investment.

PLEASE NOTE THIS TOPIC IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO LOGGED IN MEMBERS AND RESTRICTED FROM GOOGLE

RULES

1. You must have purchased the domain in TBR

2. You must disclose the Winning Bid Price

3. If possible post a screenshot of TBR invoice.

Interesting. Not sure anyone will really admit to making a mistake though.

It's not necessarily a mistake, maybe someone just thought better of it or wants to use the money to buy a different domain.

I know I have bought cars in the past and regretted it after a week, things happen in life and I want people posting in this topic to understand that. It's something that has happened to everyone and it frees up money for other things if needed.

So if we get over the stigma, this topic could turn out to be useful to both buyers and sellers.

I don't disagree in principle, just not sure it'll happen. Even if I regret missing an auction, there's always more next week so I usually forget it and move on. It would take a special domain that I really wanted to go back after it. And if I was willing to do that, I'd just contact the owner directly.

But there are arguably a few situations to consider:

1. Maybe you missed the auction for some personal reason and would be willing to take the domain off someone's hands. You could post here seeing if the new owner is willing to come forward (via post or pvt msg) and negotiate a quick flip.

2. Or maybe like you said, you're the buyer but have regrets or changes in circumstance. You could post your price here expecting to break even or a small (< 2x) type of profit.

3. Or maybe the owner got a smokin' deal at an outlier registrar, but would be willing to flip it here for what might still be a reasonable reseller acquisition price (especially these days), but would still be a nice one week flip.

In all cases, its basically a quick flip - and as long as the seller posts it with a price that truly makes investor sense, then great, I'd love to see it happen.

I'll start it off...

Please note the capitalization of this domain: LRIS.CA looks like lris.ca

I had some regrets early on, but after seeing prices rise week after week I'm now happy with my early wins lol
