I don't know man, its hard to get a good multiple at that price and expect to move it anytime soon. Sitting on a portfolio of domains bought over $1K+ each is a big gamble. It becomes a perpetual feast-or-famine situation unless you're selling at pretty low multiples to keep inventory moving. Granted, you could probably liquidate it at your purchase price pretty easily though. So at that point it boils down to are there better investments? Most domain investments are going to be decade+ hold times. You start comparing that to compounding of a simple stock index fund over those timeframes and you wonder if you did the right thing. And the difference in liquidity is probably the biggest issue.
I was bidding boulanger.ca on whc at the same time and my Uber eats came to the door.. it was intense. But I’ll let u in on a little secret, 6806 was my final bid, I clicked and walked away from my computer

Yeah, boulanger was cheap compared to carlson. Both are similarly popular last names, boulanger has its french meaning as a word as well. I'm pretty sure I was also the 2nd to last bidder on boulanger too.
