I put in an offer on this Monday thinking it was in the last tbr *DONT_KNOW*
It’s already at 700 at siber

Crazy good domain. A 4-letter word that fits multiple business markets (especially investment or finance) along with the alternate first-name usage.

It also looks like Sony is dropping a few of their old and discontinued TMs like trinitron.ca, betacam.ca, handycam.ca, and vaio.ca.

Currently at $1200 on Siber and continuing to move up - and that's the pre-auction bidding, no telling how high it will go on the actual auction.

There's a lot of money flying around today, and not just on the usual suspects like Rich or Pastel, but on mid-liners as well, and it looks like some people got a big bag of cash in their stocking from Santa.

Ho Ho Ho

This is the last TBR of 2020 so some may have a certain budget within a year to spend and have some left over. I don’t think RLM has spent anywhere near his budget of 1 Mil so we know he is good to go this week. :)

Oh yeah, the top bid on NP was $4,050.00, obviously for Rich.ca, but the next-highest was only a measly $100.

And in a major upset... MyID wins RICH.ca.

My wallet hurts just thinking about what that will go for at auction.

Probably the same as it would on Siber...

And man, did I get a big bag of coal this week - only one of the sneaky-good domains made it through and I totally screwed up my bids at Siber by forgetting a few and seeing them get picked up late. And naturally, all my low-end junk picks went pouring into my stocking.. :'(

* With all the work keeping the DR site from melting down in a mass of I/O faults (these constant PHP + WP updates are killing lots of websites - just wait for the hardline PHP 8 to hit), and with work + TBR + domains + DR, I think that if it doesn't clear up by this weekend, I'll just nuke the site from orbit.

I missed the MyID auction. Someone got rich today, question is, how much did it cost them?

I was watching the auction.. Too........ Rich for my blood. Not much action after the cut off but it did go for a lot more than I thought.

What was the one Sneaky-good domain that went late?

Elvin.ca - I have a friend named Elvin and I was going to offer it to him, and if he didn't want it, try to sell it to some other Elvin. But it was 1 of 3 domains I forgot to min-bid at Siber and there were no bidders on any of the 3 (I checked price but forgot to actually bid).

I am way, way too busy lately.

Thanks

Rich.ca went for $7,000 + HST

Still has not changed hands.
